Just got my SAT results.1430..okay i guess considering i mugged the night b4..bleah..hahas..Thinking of whether to just brush up on my english first and go for a second try. Should be able to get better scores =)
It was the last day of my attachment today. Same routine as the past. Today, 4 of us wrapped 105 presents for christmas! ahahs..almost becoming an expert at wrapping presents...then went off for home visits again.
First to this Indian lady's home, who was having a slight fever and infection. Then to this 73 yr old man's home in Aljunied. He was real stubborn. Worse than a mule. He kept insisting on having things his way, refusing to eat his Wafarin medicine, and keep sayin he doesnt want to worry his wife. But the truth was he was creating more trouble for her with his uncooperativity. She whispered to us that she had to go through more trouble, in addition to the chemo radio therapies and checkups, to mix the pounded medicine into fruit juice for him to consume. Tiring man! We spent a staggering 2 hours there because he didnt want to cooperate. But Wan Hua was still as patient as ever. I really admire her for her drive and professionalism. And her linguist talent. She can speak English, Chinese, Hokkien, Cantonese, Malay PROFICIENTLY. And to add it on, some tamil as well. I suspect she might be able to speak more, u noe..hahas...
TAG's over. Its back to the normal routine again. Its my dad's bday in 4 minutes but hes on the airplane now. So sad! I dun ever wanna spend my bday alone in an cold sterilised airplane. My poor dad.. =(
