yay..today was a rather meaningful day! went down to redhill again, met up with geri esther and 2 of esthers frens. We distributed chee kuay to the elderlies..they were really excited to eat the tiong bahru chee kuay!
Then after that we had eye check up for about 60 of them. me, ester, yuhui and wan sheng were the nurses..then we had to guide them to do the eye checkup.asking them to read out the numbers on the board. ALL in hokkien and canto..imagine how tongue tied we were...=P
and now i finally understand wad 6/60 6/9 6/6 means on the optician's sheet! we had to write that down. hahas
finally we came to the last person..it turned out that she was very skeptic of the test and was kinda afraid of reading it wrong.so she quietly memorised all the no.s and came to us last. As i was like covering her eye and asking her to read the no on the 2nd line, she answered without even looking at the board..so i started getting suspicious!Then i realised she had memorised the no.s , so i kinda ticked her off and she started laughing cheekily. damn funny!!
