hmm just watched the taped version of jiao1 dian3 showed last week on channel 8. It featured YC's recent trip to Aceh. It really made me understand what it meant to the kids there when they had friends to play with and food to enjoy amidst all the uncertainty and fear they have. Was talking to aziah and goki on the trip the last time and they were kinda filling me in about the stuff but i realised i never understood the gravity of the situation until i saw it on tv today. And what more its impact when i do eventually get to go overseas next yr for the real experience? i m really looking forward to it. I guess Yc 's kinda blessed in the way like the earthquakes only struck 2 days after they left. aziah's anecdotes of the trips makes me so excited to go and do something...
yea..was excited not only to see the kids that they have been mentioning so often, but was also excited to see frens like jacqueline, hobbit , goki aziah and mr lam! on tv expressing their heartfelt thoughts. Azi's words were, i tot, particularly thought provoking as usual.
In retrospect, i cant really imagine how myopic my views were before i joined YC. I mean it kinda opened up my understanding of this world and the compassion that everyone shud have for their fellow mankind.
oh wels, hopefully the ppl i ve gotten will get thru the selection test, tho i think chances are low =( damn. nvm...hmm im sup to be studying for bio SKill D tmr.. and its on some crappy thing like quadrat that we ve never done b4 and i ve just held a super long discussion with some of my clsmtes and eric.

got my pretty erhu cert from Ding lao shi that day! hahas he suggested i framed it up cos it seemed like quite tough to get. so funny! haiya somehow i feel i dun deserve the distinction cos PRof wang was like obviously biased.crap.. nonetheless i shall prove to him this yr that i havent let him down!
