oh yea--> its valentine's day (again) today. I guess deep down some of you might be expecting some post from me thats full of angst and emptiness. I also thought so. But it turns up that i am more blessed than I ever thought and the present situation illuminates it more.
Just being able to receive some msgs from friends,random notes,baked food, have the opportunity to talk to close ones from sgp over the phone and random talks with umich friends. Knowing that my friends do want to turn to me when they have joy to share, and when they have difficulties to get through really makes me very fulfilled.
I know all these people made a special effort to check on me on this so-called special day to know that I was not lonely or feeling empty:) Thanks Sel, Ghim, Anmin, Kaijian, Shenye, Zhijun and Jon. Thanks mummy who probably wont be reading this but who incessantly (although i was in class and couldn pick up) called from sgp to check on me. Thanks for all the unconditional love and friendships.
Flashback: My new year resolution for 08, one of them, says call and email friends more often. I should definitely continue working on that!
