OH hmm why does it not feel like CNY at all!?
1. cos school goes on like no chinese's business in USA
2. cos its snowing like crazy and the snow outside is like 7 inches deep
3. cos i am wearing thick bundles of winter wear
4. cos i had to pour a whole bucket of hot water over my car door on CNY day because it was frozen and refused to open for me.
5. cos i am living on the other side of the globe with exactly 13 hours apart difference
6. cos i was in bed for SGP time 1st day of CNY (THE WHOLE DAY literally) after eating cold medication and i slept the whole CNY away officially
7. cos its been the 2nd year away from home w/o CNY. in psychology, they call this operant conditioning
8. cos..no angbaos
9. cos no pineapple tarts and almond tarts and kueh lapis freshly baked from mummy's oven
10. cos i have a stack of homework on my desk that i have to deal with after this post.
